The purposes of Cape Fear Chorale are: 1. To reach the widest practicable audience with a broad range of choral literature, including new choral works commissioned by the Chorale; 2. To provide the Cape Fear region with a high-quality chorus of symphonic proportions, capable of performing a broad range of choral literature at a professional level of musicianship; 3. To provide experienced, talented singers with an opportunity to study and perform a broad range of choral literature, including the choral masterpieces; and 4. To serve as a choral resource to the Cape Fear region, collaborating with arts organizations such as the Wilmington Symphony Orchestra and other non-profit cultural organizations.

Cape Fear Chorale Who We Are Cape Fear Chorale is under the direction of Aaron Peisner Artistic Director and Conductor. All members are volunteers and the group is comprised of 7085 auditioned singers each semester. The ensemble has hosted guest conductors premiered commissioned works and performed alongside the Wilmington Symphony Orchestra since its first concert in 1998. Our Purpose Cape Fear Chorale believes in the transformative power of music.
