It’s never easy to watch someone you care about experience abuse—but your support matters more than you may realize. Here are a few ways you can help: ❤️ Reach out and express your concern 👂 Listen without judgment and respect their choices 🧠 Remind them that the abuse is not their fault—everyone deserves a safe, supportive relationship 🤝 Stay focused on being present for your friend, not criticizing their partner 📲 Share resources and help create a safety plan 📅 Continue offering support, regardless of whether they leave their abusive relationship or decide it is safer to stay. • Remember, abusive partners can gaslight and manipulate those around them; it may not be easy or clear for that person to see what is happening.
