Structuring classes to facilitate cognitive, social and personal growth for each dancer, Company d aims to provide a rich knowledge of classical techniques along with the ability to adapt to all styles and techniques of dance.Company d members develop physically, cognitively and socially, not only learning dance techniques but also developing cultural awareness, communication skills and social maturity. Furthermore, Company d involves professional teaching artists in the areas of visual arts, theatre and music to broaden the arts education component. In turn, these relationships provide a connection with the artists, fosters inclusion and creates an awareness within a community of the dancer’s inherent abilities.
