Approximately 60 active volunteer firefighters from the WFD respond to more than 700 firesafety emergencies each year. These incidents include building fires vehicle rescues alarm responses and weatherrelated emergencies. The department maintains and operates 11 vehicles 3 Engines 1 Ladder 1 Heavy Rescue 2 Utility trucks and 4 Command vehicles from 3 fire stations in the township.
