The mission of Friends of HJP Park and Open Space Commission is to improve the quality of life for all citizens by generating funding and support for projects and programs that enhance and supplement the recreational, environmental, educational, beautification and leisure activities offered through HJP Park and Open Space. Friends of HJP is a 501 (c) (3) designated park advocacy organization dedicated to preserving, protecting, and improving HJP Regional Park for all citizens. Friends collaborate with HJP Park and Open Space, while maintaining independence.
