Kathys House Inc

Kathy's House was established in 1997 to meet the needs of homeless women and their children. We named it after a missionary who loved women and children and made her own home available to any woman who needed encouragement, love and support. A graduate of this program finds herself employed, with enough savings to pay first and last months rent in an apartment and utility deposits. She is grounded in her walk with God and is part of a church environment where she can network for further support. She is a better parent and friend and citizen because of the morals and values she has learned while a resident of the home. She and her child receive counseling to help them achieve a strong healthy bond. She learns to give back to her community by volunteering in worthwhile causes because of the free support she received while a resident at Kathy's House. After care includes invitations to revisit the home for dinner and weekend events. She is encouraged to call whenever she has a need and we will network to help her find the help she needs. We are her family forever.
