The Maryland Patriot Guard is a local non-profit part of The Patriot Guard Riders who support the families of our fallen troops and also those still serving, veterans and the heroes on the home front—our first responders.Through our support of organizations such as Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, the MD Patriot Guard sponsors many events to help out our wounded, ill and injured military who have served our country and made terrible sacrifices in defense of freedom. The annual PGR BBQ is just one of these events that the troops and their families look forward to. We also provide support to these troops and families in other areas. Everything from fishing trips to helping our heroes be able to spend some quality time with their families while being treated at WRNMMC.
