Feral cat overpopulation problems are successfully solved using TNR. Along with spay/neuter, the cats are vaccinated and health issues such as ringworm are addressed before they are returned to their original colony. Community problems such as spraying, yowling, and destruction of property are minimized and sometimes totally eliminated. Tame strays are fostered, re-socialized and adopted into good homes. Senior citizens and disabled persons can qualify for a special program pairing up companion cats with those in need.
