Friends of Stark Pound is volunteer-run, 501(c)3 non-profit. Friends of Stark Pound is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to reduce the population of homeless dogs at the Stark County Dog Warden Department by providing funding for spay/neuter procedures and basic veterinary care while educating the public on the importance of adoption and responsible pet ownership. Friends of Stark Pound operates in cooperation with the Stark County Dog Warden’s staff to significantly enhance the quality of life for homeless puppies and dogs and increase their placement opportunities through adoptions or rescue groups. Friends of Stark Pound is extremely grateful for our community's continuous support and involvement.
