Neo-Futurists
35 years of ongoing & ever-changing experimental theater The Neo-Futurists are an ensemble of writer/performers who collaborate to create: 1) Theater that is a fusion of sport, poetry, and ?living newspaper.? 2) Immediate, unreproducible events at headslappingly affordable prices. 3) Work that embraces those not reached by conventional theater. People who claim to 'hate theater' attend our shows over and over again. In a time when many theatres are lamenting the 'graying' and decrease in size of their audience, we perform for over 20,000 people each year, the majority of whom are under age 25. Through our workshops and classes, we've taught hundreds of people to do their own version of what we do.
