With over 250 people in our community, we can celebrate something almost everyday. Yesterday, we celebrated 5 of our finest staff and residents...all women! ONE... Congratulations to our resident, Ellie! After 32 years, she RETIRED from working at Nassau Community College. We crowned Ellie with her IM RETIRED crown and sash. The staff presented Ellie with a heart necklace as she has our hearts with her infectious smile! TWO... Congratulations to April's Employee of the Month, Mirella, who is a medication tech. Always smiling and willing to help, Mirella brings us joy and happiness! Mirella was awarded a plaque, pin and gift to say thank you! THREE... Congratulations to our in house Occupational Therapist from All Metro PT, Jackie! Jackie and her husband purchased their very first house and they moved in on Sunday. The residents and staff presented Jackie with a fun charcuterie board for their first dinner party! We are all waiting for our dinner invite. ;-) Best wishes! FOUR... Happy 50th Birthday to Marie, who works in the Wellness Department in between her schedule as a flight attendant for JETBLUE. We called Marie to sing HAPPY BIRTHDAY to her and she stopped in right after her flight all dressed up in her gear. We crowned her with her 50th Birthday headband for all to admire and bracelet. Happy Birthday, Marie! You look great! FIVE... Our heart and soul...Congratulations Natacha Germain- Department of the Quarter! Natacha, who is the first to jump in and help while keeping us safe and happy! Thank you Natacha for everything!!!!!!!
