About the organization

Ketchikan Community Concert Band When KCCB was created in 2001 Roy McPherson was the instigator music director and organizer of the project. The impetus behind the Band was that there were so many adults in the community had nowhere to play their instruments. As the Band grew and became a 501c3 the newly formed Board of Directors began taking on some of the organizational responsibilities. In 2018 Roy McPherson after over 50 years of teaching music retired from the Directorship of KCCB and took up playing euphonium in the Band.
