That feeling when your favorite food recovery organization hits 40 million pounds recovered. ✨ When Spoonfuls started in 2010, we made it our mission to ensure good food wasn't going to waste and, instead, was getting into the hands of Massachusetts residents who needed it. And just last week, we reached a major milestone in that mission: recovering our 40 millionth pound of perfectly good food. That means we've: ✅ Distributed enough food to make over 32 million meals ✅ Ensured 78 million dollars' worth of food stayed out of the trash ✅ Honored the value of the countless environmental resources it takes to grow, harvest, manufacture, and transport all that food!
