Schools That Can Milwaukee works to close the Milwaukee achievement gap by increasing the number of high-quality schools available to all students in our community. We believe Milwaukee needs a tipping point, a critical number of excellent schools of every type -- traditional district, private Choice, and independent charter -- to serve as examples of what is possible. To get there, we are pursuing three strategic Pathways to invest in school leaders: 1) Expand High-Quality Schools; 2) Develop High-Potential Schools into High-Quality Schools; and 3) Recruit & Grow School Leadership Talent. No strategy alone is the answer, but the combination of the three is transforming our city.
