The committee consists of professional organization representatives and subject matter experts who are charged with the task of reviewing updating developing and disseminating standards to meet the needs of the evaluation field. Although the JCSEE has strong roots in the world of educational evaluation its standards are widely used across many types of program evaluation. The Joint Committee currently publishes and supports three sets of evaluation standards The Program Evaluation Standards 3rd Ed.
