The Grand Haven Area Community Foundation was created in 1971 as a permanent community endowment built over time by gifts and bequests from individuals, families and organizations committed to enhancing the quality of life in Northwest Ottawa County. THE GRAND HAVEN FOUNDATION SUPPORTING ORGANIZATION IS ORGANIZED EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE PURPOSE OF RECEIVING AND ADMINISTERING FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSES SET FORTH IN SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE OF 1986 SO LONG AS SUCH ACTIVITIES SUPPORT OR BENEFIT THE GRAND HAVEN AREA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION, INC. AND SUCH OTHER PUBLICLY SUPPORTED ORGANIZATIONS DESCRIBED IN SECTIONS 509(A)(1) OR 509(A)(2) OF THE CODE AS ARE CLOSELY RELATED IN PURPOSE OR FUNCTION TO THE GRAND HAVEN AREA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION, INC.

Grand Haven Foundation Supporting Organization
Earlier this week, members of the GHACF Team had a chance to go on a hard hat tour of the Tri-Cities Family YMCA. As a longstanding partner and major supporter of this most recent capital improvement project, it was enlightening to see first-hand the scope and the progress. For over 60 years, the Tri-Cities Family YMCA has served the community by fostering positive youth development, promoting healthy living, and upholding a commitment to social responsibility.

Members of our Grants & Program Team recently had an off-site meeting at Kenzie’s Be Cafe; a for-impact partner and cafe that creates meaningful workforce opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Not only is the coffiee great, but the mission is even greater. We left feeling inspired and grateful for the work happening in our community.
