visit our website at www.operationquietcomfort.org Operation: Quiet Comfort (OQC) was established in 2004 for the purpose of honoring and comforting members of the U.S. Armed Forces injured while in harms way and providing support for those who care for them. It is our mission to help assure those individuals are honored for their sacrifices and comforted by creating Go Bags (transition kits) , handmade quilts and other items, and providing items that entertain and provide down time for their Spiritual, emotional, and physical healing. Operation: Quiet Comfort is staffed totally by volunteers who feel very strongly that American servicemen and women need to feel supported by their fellow Americans, especially when they have been wounded in the line of duty, or are providing medical care to those in need.
