Center for International Emergency Medical Services
CIEMS is devoted to using information technology to improve the delivery of medical services on a global scale. We believe that by creating a venue for information sharing, communication, and collaboration between all stakeholders in the emergency medical services community and the communities that are served, we will catalyze the rapid advancement of the field. Further, we envision that beyond their traditional role in emergency treatment and transportation, these newly formed emergency services units will be capable of providing preventive health services to under-served populations. We offer research and technology services to other research organizations sharing similar missions.

CIEMS Center for International Emergency Medical Services The Center for International Emergency Medical Services CIEMS is a 501c3 nonprofit organization based in Colorado and New York that was formed in 2006 for the purpose of improving emergency services systems worldwide. The Center is currently developing partnerships with organizations wishing to support its goals and seeking individuals who have an interest in International Emergency Services Development. Projects Curricula and Guidelines A product of the Community that the Center is working to create will be the authoring of best practices guidelines for International EMS research and development. Consultation and Support We offer advice support and services for research development and implementation on EMS and related medical and healthcare systems.
