The school has approximately 630+ students and over 80% are orphans due to the HIV//AIDs pandemic which has decimated Sub-Sahara Africa . The corporation raises funds and advises its counterpart Kenyan board on the operation of the school which is located among the Suba tribe on Mfangano Island in Lake Victoria. Funds raised in the US are used to operate the school in Kenya and provide food, fresh water, clothing, clothing, medical care, and an education for orphaned students. The board is all volunteers and there are 2 employees.
