The Eastern Athletic Trainers’ Association is an educational, research, and scholarship organization that serves the profession of Athletic Training. THE ADVANCEMENT, ENCOURAGEMENT, AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE ATHLETIC TRAINING PROFESSION IN ALL OF ITS ASPECTS; TO ENCOURAGE IMPROVED WORKING RELATIONSHIPS AMONG ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN, AND WORKING WITH, THE PROBLEMS THAT ARE INHERENT IN THE CARE FOR THE HEALTH AND WELL BEING OF THE PHYSICALLY ACTIVE INDIVIDUAL; TO ENCOURAGE THE CONTINUED PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF EACH OF ITS MEMBERS; TO SERVE THE COMMON INTEREST OF ITS MEMBERS BY PROVIDING A MEANS OF FREE EXCHANGE OF IDEAS WITHIN THE PROFESSION.

Athletic Trainers are Healthcare Our Vision Statement Enhancing athletic training practice and transforming outcomes by providing high quality collaborative interactive programming. About Our Association EATA consists of over 8000 athletic trainers and athletic training students from Maine to Delaware. EATA provides educational sessions scholarships and research grants to athletic trainers in District 1 and 2 of the National Athletic Trainers Association.
