MBSK Foundation About Us The Munshi Bishan Singh Kochhar MBSK Foundation is named after a village school headmaster Bishan Singh Kochhar who led the only primary school in the village of Turkwal near Rawalpindi in undivided India and todays Pakistan from 1901 to 1926. As a token of respect shown to him by Hindus Muslims and Sikhs alike he was addressed by the honorific title Munshi Ji. The Foundation seeks to honor Munshi Jis mission of service to others through the means of education.
