The Clarion Free Library is dedicated to bringing its community the best service and resources it can Clarion Free Library's mission is to educate, enrich, and inform the community. Founded in 1914, the library has been at its Main St. location since 1931. It is committed to preserving local history, community revitalization, and providing access to cultural events. The library leads in youth literacy, providing over 500 reading based programs each year; making the library the largest provider of educational and literacy programs in Clarion County, outside of the public school system.
