BRAIDS N BEADS
Braids N Beads mission is to increase self esteem and prevent young girls from falling into the trap of negative stereotypes and low expectation. The organization was founded to address socioeconomic and gender issues that adversely affect the achievement of inner city youth. We engage youth ages six to sixteen in interactive workshops related to self image, personal development, etiquette and conflict resolution which helps to enhance the quality of life and relationships with teachers, peers and parents.
