Spring’s here for a few more weeks, but signs of summer are already showing at our food hub 🥦🌽🍅🥕 We got our first bin of corn from Moore’s Produce Family Farm, plus broccoli and a whole pallet of summer squashes! Our CSA members will get astonishingly beautiful carrots and parsley from Ten Mothers Farm this week. Green beans from Cottle Organics, organic heirlooms from GreenTown Farms, and so much more from so many phenomenal NC farms. We had distinguished guests visit our food hub a few weeks ago 🍓 Teacher Emma's 2nd grade class from Central Park School for Children came by for a tour and to learn more about our food system. It was sweet timing too! Just the week before we had delivered strawberries to the school for their annual strawberry festival and got to share about the local farmers who grow our food.
