The purpose is to make a difference in the lives of the poor and impoverished around the world. Since the first trip in October of 2011 GoDesign has designed and constructed 6 schools and 2 houses. BUILD STRATEGYUsing native tools, indigenous building techniques, and materials from the local market, GoDesign develops a solution for the architectural need while teaching the local tradesmen these building techniques. Our goal is simple: apply design to the local techniques, teach the locals how to implement the design principles, then change the course of construction in rural developing countries.
