Promoting Wellness, Dignity & Independence for Seniors Since 1973, Curry Senior Center has been that supportive foundation for thousands of San Francisco’s Tenderloin seniors, aged 55 or older, many of whom are homeless or have experienced homelessness in their lives. Tenderloin seniors have few resources – financial or social – and essentially are alone. From providing healthcare to social stimulation, Curry has been there every step of the way, empowering vulnerable low-income seniors to live in their homes – single room occupancy (SRO) hotels or apartments - with wellness, dignity, and independence.
