Voices of Victims was founded by Joe and Kaye Cannata, who experienced the trauma of losing a family member to violent crime. Their daughter, Lynn Cannata, was murdered in 1987, and they realized the immense challenges victims' families face in navigating the legal system. This experience led them to establish an organization that could help other victims and their families through similar situations.
