HANDS provides health and dental care to low-income, uninsured, adult residents of St. Lucie County Our mission is to provide primary health care services to the indigent, medically uninsured and under insured people of St. Lucie County. To accomplish this mission, HANDS seeks to: Provide access to health care preventing serious and costly consequences of undiagnosed and untreated illness (e.g. Diabetes) Coordinate existing health services with patient navigation. Identify gaps in health care services and act as a medium to extend services to low-income and uninsured St. Lucie County citizens.
