The North Bay's largest nonprofit provider of comprehensive behavioral health services, helping those with mental health & addiction challenges to lead healthier, more independent lives. Buckelew Programs' mission is to promote recovery, resilience and hope by providing behavioral health and support services that enhance quality of life. Founded in 1970 as a supported housing program, Buckelew is now the most comprehensive nonprofit provider of behavioral health services in the North Bay, delivering direct services to over 3,000 each year in addition to answering approximately 12,000 calls annually through the Suicide Prevention hotline. Core programs include Counseling, Service Navigation, Substance Use Recovery, Supported Housing and Suicide Prevention. Buckelew operates one of 13 California call centers selected to participate in the national 988 Lifeline.
