The Lower School Spring Concert was a great success, with 100% participation from all lower school students in grades pre-K through 5. Musical selections included "Simple Gifts" as performed by the Handbell Choir, "Rockin’ Robin" (originally performed by the Jackson 5) performed by the fourth grade, and "We Shall Overcome" (originally performed by Joan Baez) sung by the third grade. The concert closed out with "As We Leave This Friendly Place," as is tradition. Congratulations to all who participated, and many thanks to all the lower school faculty who herded the children to rehearsal, provided musical coaching support, and generally controlled the chaos.
