Happy New Year! Just before Christmas, the WCHPC and CAP, along with the Town of Zebulon, cut the ribbons dedicating two new historical roadside markers to recognize two significant African American sites in Zebulon: Wakefield-Zebulon Rosenwald School and the Mt. Pisgah Prince Hall Masonic Lodge #65! We were honored to be a part of this dedication. Both Zebulon Mayor Glenn York and WCHPC Chair Ed Morris were featured speakers. Due to unforeseen circumstances, CAP has had to make the difficult decision to postpone this year's Anthemion Awards, scheduled for September 23, to next year. We have notified all of those that have submitted projects for consideration over the last two months.
