QUICKSTART TENNIS OF CENTRAL VIRGINIA INC AKA QUICKSTART CHILDREN OF VIRGINIA
To promote, develop and grow QuickStart Tennis in 28 formerly underserved, rural counties in central and southside Virginia for all beginners, primarily kids 4 to 14, using the kids-sized, age-appropriate QuickStart Tennis format. To make tennis available to disadvantaged and at-risk kids, especially four-year olds. To create happy, healthy, active and literate kids in the communities we serve. To help combat childhood obesity and physical inactivity by using tennis players as role models. To build a public tennis tradition where there was none. We've trained more than 2,000 people and have taken tennis to 252 schools with 117,000+ students.
