Crescent Ski Council was formed in 1969 primarily to operate long-distance ski trips. Over the years, it has grown to membership of 19 ski clubs in the SE. Additionally, Crescent Ski Council offers 5 race weekends in western North Carolina each season.

STEAMBOAT RACESKIBOARD CAMP 2024 BIG SKY CRESCENT SKI WEEK 2025 TheCrescent Ski Council is a nonprofit all volunteer organization focused on providing snow sports and group event opportunities for all our club members. We promote winter recreational sports and activities including alpine skiing snowboarding crosscountry skiing and racingfor our members. Join one of our 18 authorized clubsthat offer longdistance and local trips yearround social and recreational activities including meetings hiking biking rafting and other fun activities. Member clubs have race teams that compete at North Carolina resorts in the Crescent Ski Council Race Series.
