To educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering their pets. To work with committed volunteers, fosters homes and local veterinarians, to achieve our goal of saving lives. To ensure that each pet is adopted into a secure, loving home where they are treated as valued family members.

Our mission is to make a difference in our community by rescuing stray homeless and abandoned dogs and to ensure that each dog is adopted into a secure loving home where they will be treated as valued family members. With thousands of companion animals being euthanized each year in the Midlands of SC our goal is to save as many as possible from this dreadful fate. Homeward Bound was founded by a team of volunteers with many years of experience in pet rescue.
