NYS Council for Community Behavioral Healthcare
The NYS Council for Community Behavioral Healthcare is a 50+ year old membership association representing the interests of community-based mental health and substance use disorder organizations across New York. We advocate for the preservation and expansion of high quality, low cost care for New Yorkers living with a mental illness and/or addiction challenge. Our members provide a broad range of services in local communities across New York State in settings that include freestanding non profit agencies, counties and general hospitals. On demand access to affordable care for individuals and families is our priority. We advocate with state government for resources that will ensure parity between physical health and behavioral health services.
