CAPE DECISION LIGHTHOUSE SOCIETY
The Cape Decision Lighthouse Society (CDLS) is a grass-roots 501(c)3 non-profit Alaskan corporation. In 1997 CDLS was awarded stewardship responsibilities for the Cape Decision Light Station and its Lighthouse Reserve by the US Coast Guard.We are dedicated to the preservation of the Lighthouse and the surrounding wilderness for recreational and educational use by the public, and to the promotion of economic development in a region which has been hit hard by declining fisheries and diminished activity in the logging industry.
