The Richard A. Neubauer Research Institute (RANRI) believes in the healing power of oxygen. The Institute exists to further research, educate, advocate for the medical treatment of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. Richard A. Neubauer, M.D. was internationally recognized as a pioneer in the application of hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) for a variety of neurological and related illnesses and disorders. Dr. Neubauer remained active with research and clinical work throughout his career and was always willing to share his great knowledge and expertise with colleagues, patients and wider audiences. He derived enormous pleasure from seeing those around him harness and develop the ongoing evolution of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) from all points of the globe and introduced bi-annual symposiums to expand the knowledge base of HBOT. In 2008 while in declining health Dr. Neubauer passed the symposium baton to his colleague of many years, Dr. Donald Jolly-Gabriel. The Friends of Chelation Therapy non-profit, which was started by Dr. Jolly-Gabriel with cooperation with Dr. Neubauer, became the Richard A. Neubauer Research Institute to continue his work in Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.
