National Association for Medical Program Integrity NAMPI
Promote communication, information sharing and mutual support amoung professionals responsible for Medicaid program integrity functions. An annual conference of membership is held. Officers are state employees and are not compensated.

History
NAMPI was established in 1985 as a collaborative effort by states to enhance national Medicaid program integrity. Initially known as the National Association of Surveillance and Utilization Review Officials (NASO), it was rebranded to NAMPI in 2006 to better align with its mission[1].

The mission of NAMPI is to safeguard the fiscal, operational, and program integrity of Medicaid programs. This is achieved by enhancing communication between members and other agencies, utilizing current technology and methodology to disseminate collective information to members and the federal government[1][3].
