We want to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who donated to our collaborative donation drive with Goodwill of Southern Nevada! From 12pm to 4pm, we had 13 individual donors totaling 5 full bins worth of donations - 2 bins of wares, 2 bins of cloth and 1 bin of electronics. We also got a bicycle! Two-year-old Spencer is a very sweet fella who needs just the right amount of TLC to succeed. He was left outside of our center in a carrier about a month ago, and initially he was terrified. He didn't understand what happened or why. Slowly, he began trusting us, but he's still playing the introvert card, though he is playful and chatty when no one is watching! He's handsome, charming, and pretends he doesn't like the gentle back scratches but really, he does.
