Join us this weekend to celebrate Puerto Rican pride on the Lower East Side! 🇵🇷 This Saturday, May 31, El Grito de Lower East Side will host the second annual Lower East Side Puerto Rican Parade and Festival. The parade begins at 4:00 PM at Columbia Street and Rivington Street, followed by a community festival at 4:30 PM on East 11th Street and Avenue D. University Settlement is proud to co-sponsor this celebration alongside our community partners. The festival will feature Dean Huertas as host, along with artists, vendors, food, and live performances that celebrate Boricua heritage and the history of Puerto Rican communities on the LES.
