The organization focuses on implementing new agriculture – cage fishing – methods in Ghanaian villages, which allows villagers to work without having to utilize child labor. Upon voluntary release of the children from the fishing masters, Mercy Project works to rehabilitate and reintegrate the former slaves with their families, providing for their basic needs including education.
