To establish and maintain Science-A-Peel as a place that emphasizes its’ public service responsibility and to position education at the center of that role in a fashion that promotes the various branches of science as they address modern-day issues. To foster a sense of active learning that will develop a more profound understanding/appreciation of the field of science while responding to the pluralism and multiculturalism of the public.  This would be accomplished in such ways as utilizing the senses of touch, smell, sight, hearing, having exhibits that can be readily seen and accommodated by those in a wheel chair and that account for the diversity of society as well as the diversity of learning style and providing complimentary “early entry” to the facility to senior citizens and physically handicapped.  In short to ensure the facility provides for the greatest accessibility to the public and is user friendly and accessible for all regardless of age, diversity of learning, linguistics, ability to hear or any mental or physical impairment so as to make science more appealing to them. To ensure that all exhibits are readily understandable for the public of all ages and that none of the exhibits are presented in a way that is contrary to an impartial and appealing quest for knowledge. To campaign to have schools visit the facility to gain a better understanding of the branches of science as they address modern-day issues.  For those schools/institutions that are unable to attend Science A-Peel due to a variety of reasons including physical and financial restrictions, Science A-Peel will offer a virtual website. To attend workshops and conferences that will supplement the staff’s knowledge of the branches of science as they address modern-day issues.  To arrange, create, maintain, promote and rotate appropriate exhibits and displays for the purposes of education, study and enjoyment, on an as needed basis.  To cooperate with local, county, state, and federal laws and regulations regarding the inception and continuance of Science A-Peel.
