This past Mental Health Action Day, WINGS staff came together for a truly special activity: naming the 13 beautiful trees recently planted by Openlands. We made it a team effort, with each tree's name thoughtfully chosen through a staff vote. The winning names are deeply tied to the heart of WINGS mission, reflecting the journey of healing and growth that survivors of domestic violence experience: Hope, Grace, Courage, Resilience, Joy, Caring, Flexibility, Teamwork, Excellence, Respect, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion ๐ณ๐ณ These newly named trees now stand as living symbols of growth, resilience, and the hope we foster for families impacted by domestic violence.
