Their mission is 147to promote the health and welfare of the soldiers and sailors at Camp Perry to preserve the heritage history and traditions of Camp Perry and to promote a good and harmonious relationship between Camp Perry and the community. 148 The organization has been around since 1995 but has only recently been legally certified as a nonmilitary support organization officially authorized to conduct activities on the camp. Some of their projects include restoring the 147Gratitude Train148 and the 147Baggage Station148 both historical markers on post that was in dire need of repair.
