Uniformed Fire Officers Association Halfway through the 2025 fiscal year the department has already blown past its new overtime budget of 564. 8 million according to the Independent Budget Office. Angeliesse and Mike Nesterwitz met and married as New York Police Department officers. They each made more than 100000 a year but life had become unbearable.

The UFOA was proud to attend the 51st annual FDNY/NYPD Hockey Game on Saturday, a great event raising funds for numerous FDNY charities. It was a hard-fought battle, with the FDNY ultimately winning 6-2. The FDNY continues their winning streak, having won 8 of the last 9 games (with one tie).

An incredibly moving day at the FDNY promotion ceremony for 83 members. We were especially honored to recognize Firefighter Mark Dziemian, now Lieutenant Dziemian. Mark bravely battled a 2-alarm fire on March 16th, suffering cardiac arrest while operating.
