Swipe through for some of our favorite moments from the MAK Architecture Tour Spring 2025 fundraiser!⁠ ⁠ This year, we visited four homes—R.M. Schindler’s How House (1925) and Yates Studio (1938-1947), Gregory Ain’s Orans House (1941), and John Lautner’s Silvertop (1963)—showcasing the innovative techniques these architects used to navigate the hillside terrain of the Silver Lake neighborhood.⁠ ⁠ The tour was followed by a lively reception at the contemporary Cano House, designed by Diego Cano Lasso, with refreshments generously supported by DADA ECHO PARK, Catalina Apéro, and Aplós. ⁠ ⁠ We extend a heartfelt thanks to our hosts who graciously opened their homes, and special appreciation to our docents who guided visitors throughout the day.
