Building character and building the community! THE LEMOYNE COMMUNITY CENTER DEVELOPS, SHAPES, DEFINES, AND STABILIZES OUR COMMUNITY THROUGH EDUCATION, ARTS, HEALTH, AND RECREATIONAL PROGRAMS. THE LEMOYNE COMMUNITY CENTER WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1956 AS A SUCCESSOR TO THE WORK THAT BEGAN IN THE EARLY TWENTIETH CENTURY BY ROBERT FORREST, THOMAS FITCH, NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE ASSOCIATION, PEARLE HARRIS AND OTHER COMMUNITY MEMBERS.
