CCHS is an independent, non-profit animal welfare organization. Mission: To instill respect, kindness, and compassion for animals as community values. Purpose: To prevent cruelty to animals, to promote animal welfare, to educate the public about the humane care and treatment of animals, to increase public awareness of the companion animal overpopulation issue and to provide solutions, and to provide high quality shelter, medical, and adoption services for animals when necessary.

CCHS close early at 5 PM on Thursday, July 3rd, and we will be closed to the public on Friday, July 4th, for the Independence Day holiday. We will reopen on Saturday for our normal open hours of 12 PM - 5 PM. We hope everyone (and every pet) has a happy and safe holiday weekend.
