Friends of Summit Symphony Inc
We are a community orchestra based in Summit, NJ. We perform 3-4 free concerts per year. The Summit Symphony Orchestra was formed in 1938 by the Summit Board of Recreation with the dual purpose of (1) providing an arena for a community of musicians to read and perform orchestral music, and (2) presenting orchestral concerts, free of charge, to residents of Summit and the surrounding areas. The Symphony's goal is to present the wide range of orchestral music to the community, and enrich the cultural life of the city of Summit and beyond.
