Our very special male calico Freddie Mercury had his neuter and exploratory surgery. HIs body tried really hard to be a girl! Only 1 out of every 3,000 calico’s is male and they end up with medical issues. A very small testicle was found near his kidney - the lack of development is not a surprise since male calico’s are normally sterile. He also has only one kidney. He recovered really well and enjoys his job as office cat. His foster said he has zero fear! We don’t know how long he will live but we know it’s going to be full of adventures and love. (fb)
